てきにんしゃ【適任者】

a person well suited [suitable] 《for the position》; a suitable person; a well-qualified person.

●最適任者である be the best [right] person 《for the job》; be just the man [woman] 《for the position》.

●その地位に適任者がいない. I can't find anyone suitable for the position.

●適任者の選択 selection of a suitable [the right] person 《for a position》.

●その仕事には彼こそ適任者だ. He is the perfect man for the job.

・彼女をおいてこの仕事の適任者はいない. No one is [There is no one] better suited for the job than her [she is].

・今度の校長は適任者だ. The new principal is a good choice.
